Don & Anita Long, hard at work!

Don Long works for Richmond Times-Dispatch; we are grateful for his talents - and his generosity - as he took many of the photographs that you see on this website. For several years, Don and his wife Anita lent us their daughter Staci, who was one of our first hitch drivers.

Don’s co-worker Carlos Santos is a terrific Times-Dispatch reporter assigned to Charlottesville. Carlos has covered a number of horse-related events here at Bundoran. We are grateful for Carlos’ fine reporting and kind words about our teams.

Recently, they combined their efforts to produce a major photo-feature about the restoration of the Kiddie carousels, and the decorative artwork of Kathy Peace.

Our local and statewide media has been both interested in and very generous with its coverage of our horses, Bundoran's carriages, and our horse-drawn and stationary carousels. We really appreciate it, too.
