When Bruce Weber, the world-famous fashion photographer and Gianni Versace, the Italian high fashion designer needed heavy horses to use with their world-class fashion models, they came to the Bundoran Belgians for help.

When Bruce Weber told this young fashion model to hold the lines, it was good to have a safe team to trust. Nell and Dawn are as trustworthy as horses can get; and they did the job that Versace wanted.

This photo has been used around the world. Nell and her riders were on the back cover of ELLE magazine.

Now, having left the hitch, Nell is enjoying working weddings at the Mountain Lake Hotel, near Blacksburg VA and Dawn is retired to a family farm in Buckingham County.

The new horses are Ben, Abe, Tom and Bob, and they are just as reliable.
